At Alexandria Events, we love weddings!
But most of all, we want you to love your wedding too, and enjoy the planning process as much as possible. Our aim is to take your ideas and inspirations and work with you to turn them into an incredible wedding, through meticulous planning, and attention to detail. All of our services are bespoke, so there is no wedding (or budget) too big or small. We all lead busy lives and planning your big day can become stressful and time consuming. We want to take all of the boring bits out of your hands, so that you are free to enjoy the planning process and focus on the fun bits (like cake tasting!).
My background in events, and project management, paired with my absolute passion for weddings, lead me to set my my own company, Alexandria Events, after much deliberation and soul-searching about ‘what to do next’. My lovely husband and I decided to move to the Hampshire countryside for a quieter lifestyle (or so I thought!) in June 2012, and I have found that it is the ideal location for me, as a wedding planner. I am surrounded by such incredible country wedding venues, and fabulous local suppliers, as well as being a stones throw away from London – what more could I ask for? Having said that, we will go with you where ever your wedding takes us – whether it is Spain or South Africa! I am also a member of the UK Alliance of Wedding Planners, a network of wedding professionals who are dedicated to providing excellence to our clients. Alexandria Events is a small, but thriving business, everyone involved is passionate about providing an excellent service to all of our clients, many of whom have now become friends. Having built up a wonderful network of suppliers, we are able to negotiate fantastic discounts on a number of wedding services. We never accept commission from anyone that we work with, any saving or discount is passed directly to our clients.
If you are thinking of hiring a planner for your big day, or any other events that you might have, I would absolutely love to hear from you. Our initial consultation is completely free of charge, and is a great opportunity for us to sit down with a cup of tea (or glass of champagne – there is a lot to celebrate after all!) and get to know each other.
